Today, the official opening of the first C5 Center in Peru (Command, Control, Communications, Computing and Monitoring Center) took place in the city of Ica. It is an integrated public safety operations center that combines IT systems, telecommunications, and monitoring infrastructure to manage emergency situations and coordinate the activities of public services in real time. One of the components launched as part of the center is the NeuroCar VI vehicle identification subsystem (ANPR, MMR) supplied by Neurosoft.
The new C5 Center (Spanish: Centro de Comando, Control, Cómputo, Comunicaciones y Monitoreo) incorporates a number of innovative solutions designed to significantly improve security in the monitored area. The center manages more than 480 cameras whose video streams are analyzed using advanced artificial intelligence technologies. The analytical data obtained are processed by software provided by Sym Servicios / CityShob and then delivered in real time as alerts to the appropriate operational units.
As part of the project, Neurosoft delivered the NeuroCar Stream VI analytical software, which enables real-time recognition of vehicle license plates as well as vehicle make and model version. This allows for the immediate detection of wanted vehicles, such as stolen cars, and the rapid transmission of this information to patrol units operating in the city.
The new center is the most advanced facility of this type in Peru, and for Neurosoft it represents the first deployment of NeuroCar software in the country. We would like to thank our partner – SYM Servicios Integrales – for their trust and for selecting our technology as a key component of the project.
