Defense Tech Valley 2025

Events NeuroSpace

“If you are not in Ukraine – you are not on the defense tech market” – under this slogan the Defense Tech Valley 2025 conference was held, organized by the defense technology cluster Brave¹, launched by the Government of Ukraine. The event took place in Lviv on September 16–17, 2025, bringing together more than 5 000 participants from over 50 countries. The conference was also attended by NeuroSpace, which was seeking opportunities to apply artificial intelligence technologies developed in Poland.

The event lasted two days and featured a range of parallel activities. The main part of the conference, held on the main stage, consisted of presentations and panel discussions dedicated to various aspects of military technologies used in the war in Ukraine. The conference was opened by Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s Minister of Digital Transformation, and the speakers included, among others, Andrius Kubilius – EU Commissioner for Defense and Space, and Haluk Bayraktar – CEO of Baykar.

The second part of the conference featured presentations and competitions aimed at innovative Ukrainian start-ups, which showcased their products also in search of investors. Competitions were held in the categories: “Game Changers,” “Trailblazers,” and “Power Players,” and the winners had the opportunity to present their achievements on the main stage. The third part of the conference was an exhibition of military equipment combined with demonstrations of modern defense technologies. The showcases took place on the pitch of the Lviv Arena stadium.

In addition to the events directly related to DTV 2025, a number of side events were held, including the highly interesting seminar “AI on the Battlefield”, dedicated to Ukraine’s experience in applying artificial intelligence technologies on the front line. The seminar also featured panel discussions on, among other topics, the robotization of the battlefield and foreign investments in Ukraine’s AI defense sector.

DTV 2025 can be summarized as a tremendous success for the organizers – both in terms of the efficiency of preparation and organization, as well as the enormous interest from participants from around the world, which seems to confirm the motto quoted at the beginning.
